Happy New Year Everyone!
After leaving Puerto Iguazu, but not before sampling some of the finest melt-in-your-mouth Argentinian steaks, we made our way south to a city called Cordoba, very near Che Guevaras home town. We thought the bus journey to Cordoba from Puerto Iguazu would only be 10 hours so we forefitted the first class tickets (which included meals, champaign and FULLY RECLINEABLE seats) only to find out 12 hours into the bus journey that it´d be 23 hours in total! However we made it to Cordoba in one piece none the less where we broght in the New Year in pure Argentinaian fashion. The clubs here dont open untill 2am so you can imagine it was a very late night! We ended up staying in our hostel for the count down then going to an Electro party at a near by hostel and finally on to a reggae club after. Great night!
From Cordoba we travelled further south to Mendoza, wine country! Its a beautiful town, great wine for littlle to nothing and of course steak every night. Some of us went on a cycling wine tasting tour of the vin yards today and hope to do white water rafting tomorrow (if our heads aren´t too heavy in the morning!)
Hope to stay here another few days and then on to Buenos Aires! ! !
p.s. sorry forgot my camera but photos to come soon!
